Cookies

Our sites use so-called cookies in part. Cookies do not inflict any damage on your computer and do not contain any malware. Cookies are meant to make our offers more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and that are saved by your browser. Most of the cookies used by us are so-called session cookies. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies will be saved on your terminal device until you delete them. These cookies make it possible for us to recognize your browser at the next visit. You can set your browser in such a way that you will be informed about the use of cookies and allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general, as well as activate the automatic deletion of all cookies when closing the browser. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of this website may be impaired.

Server Log Files

The site provider automatically collects and saves information in so-called server log files which your browser transmits automatically. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request

These data cannot be attributed to a certain person. They are not brought together with other data sources. We reserve the right to subsequently examine these data if there is concrete evidence for illegal usage.

Contact Form

If you send us requests via our contact form, your data from the request form including the contact data stated by you are saved by us in case there should arise any further questions or for the purpose of processing the request. These data will not be passed on without your written consent.

SSL Encryption

This page uses an SSL encryption for security reasons and for the protection of the transmission of confidential content like e.g. requests which you send to us as the website provider. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from “http://” to “https://” and that there is a lock icon in your browser line. If the SSL encryption is active, the data which you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Facebook Plugins

On our sites, plugins of the social network Facebook, vendor Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, are integrated. You can recognize the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like” button on our page. You will find an overview of the Facebook plugins here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/. If you visit our sites, a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server is established via the plugin. With this, Facebook will get the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click on the Facebook “Like” button while you are logged into your Facebook account, you can link the contents of our pages to your Facebook profile. This way, Facebook can associate your user account with the visit of our sites. We would like to point out that we as the site provider have no knowledge whatsoever of the content of the transmitted data as well as its usage by Facebook. You will find further information in Facebook’s Data Protection Declaration on https://de-de.facebook.com/policy.php. If you do not wish Facebook to be able to associate the visit of our sites with your Facebook user account, please log off your Facebook user account before visiting our sites.

Twitter

On our sites, functions of the service Twitter are implemented. These functions are offered by Twitter Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. By using Twitter and its feature “Re-Tweet”, the websites visited by you are linked with your Twitter account and made public to other users. During this process, data are transmitted to Twitter as well. We would like to point out that we as the site provider have no knowledge whatsoever of the content of the transmitted data as well as its usage by Twitter. You will find further information in Twitter’s Data Protection Declaration on https://twitter.com/privacy. You can change your data protection settings at Twitter in the account settings under https://twitter.com/account/settings.

Google Web Fonts

This page uses so-called Web Fonts provided by Google for the uniform representation of font types. When visiting a site, your browser uploads the required Web Fonts to your browser cache in order to represent texts and font types correctly.

For this purpose, the browser used by you must establish a connection with the Google servers. Due to this, Google is informed about the fact that our website has been accessed via your IP address. Using Google Web Fonts is in the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online content. This constitutes a justifiable interest in line with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit f. GDPR. If your browser does not support Web Fonts, a default font type from your computer will be used. You will find further information about Google Web Fonts under https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s data protection declaration: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

YouTube

Our website uses plugins from the site YouTube, which is operated by Google. Vendor is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit one of our sites featuring a YouTube plugin, a connection with the servers of YouTube will be established. During this process, the YouTube server is informed about which of our sites you have visited. Should you be logged into your YouTube account, you make it possible for YouTube to associate your browsing behavior directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. Using YouTube is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online content. This constitutes a justifiable interest in line with Art. 6 Paragraph 1 lit f. GDPR. You will find more information about handling user data in YouTube’s data protection declaration: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de

Analytical Tools and Tools of Third Party Vendors

At the visit of our website your browsing behavior can be statistically analyzed. This particularly happens with cookies and with so-called analytical programs. The analysis of your browsing behavior usually happens anonymously; the browsing behavior cannot be traced back to you. You can object to this analysis or prevent it by not using certain tools.

Links to other Providers

Our website also contains – clearly visible – links to the online presences of other companies. However, we take over no responsibility at all for the content and the data protection / data security conceptions of these websites.

Basic Safety Principles

In order to protect the data of our employees/customers/suppliers stored at our company from accidental or willful manipulations, loss, destruction or access by unauthorized people, we have taken respective technical and organizational measures. The security levels are regularly reviewed together with security experts and adapted to new security standards.

Objection to Advertising Emails
